The Advanced Handgun Carry Course (AHCC) is a continuation of our Basics of Handgun Carry Course (BHCC). The BHCC is a prerequisite to attend the AHCC and still requires Instructor approval. This means not everyone who attends the BHCC will be qualified to attend the AHCC.
The AHCC expects students to be proficient with drawing, reholstering, reloading, shooting on the move and listening to instruction on a live range. All these things were taught and practiced in the BHCC.
The AHCC will teach advanced drills that are more complex and stressful. It will include more obstacles, multiple person, malfunctions, introduced stresses, and thinking techniques.
