Basics of Handguns (USCCA Certified) Course
6 Hours of Training with breaks (Classroom and Live Fire)
Please note this course does not qualify for your License To Carry (LTC) requirements but is a great course to take prior to taking the LTC course.
Costs
$100 to Enhanced Tactical (at checkout)
$15 to Eagle Gun Range (at time of class) if you plan to shoot on the range after (this does not include rental handgun costs)
Course Outline
The Basics of Handguns is a USCCA Certified Course that is a great course for the handgun beginner. Even seasoned shooters will probably learn some new things.
This class is about 5 hours of classroom instruction. There will be a 5-10 minute break about every hour. There will be in classroom exercises to teach you the fundamentals. After the classroom portion there is an optional live fire range exercise.

What to bring to Course
The most important thing to bring to course is a positive attitude and an open mind. With out these two things it will be difficult to be successful in this course.
- Snacks and drinks (classroom only)
- Notepad and pen/pencil or a tablet
- Please no laptops as typing may be annoying to other students
- A handgun if you plan to shoot after the classroom portion
- Eye and hearing protection if you plan to shoot
If you plan on shooting after the classroom portion please make sure you read our student outline that has all the necessary requirements to shoot. The student outline is sent once you inquire about the course. If you don’t have a handgun, hearing protection and eye protection there will be options. When you fill out our student questionnaire please make sure you put what firearm you are bringing and or that you don’t have one.
