Yes we do. Just contact us and we can determine the best options and schedule.
Yes we do. We will be updating the website with a new scheduler at the first of the year.
There are two things you need to do so you are successful in training. First, you need to have a positive and open attitude. It doesn’t happen that often but if you don’t want to be in training you will not be successful. If you are an advanced shooter you need to have an open mind. Yes, there will be things you know but there will be things you don’t know and or new ways to do things.
Second, you need to read everything we send you prior to the class. Whatever the prerequisites, gear and expectations are you need to complete and understand them. Students that don’t do this will not be successful. The students that read everything and ask questions are the most successful. We want you to be successful so we want your questions if you have them about the class. We send a lot of information that may be overwhelming depending on the class. But we have taught these classes many times and know what works and what doesn’t.
Yes we do. The only class we do not offer out of state is the Texas License to Carry. It is required that course be taught in Texas. If you are looking for a private class for a group please contact us.
Once you sign up for a class we send out and email with a student outline and a student information list. This will provide hotels, stores to purchase ammo and gear, grocery stores and any good restaurants we know about.
We do everything possible to train you so you will pass the shooting qualification. Keep in mind we do not rubber stamp shooting qualifications. You have to earn it 100%. A lot of time taking the class again is not what it is needed. A private shooting lesson may be required. Private lessons have different costs depending on the need. We will work with you either way, but it may have an additional cost.
We do everything possible to evaluate you prior to approving any live fire training. This typically requires you to take one of our classroom courses. It is unlikely you will not be able to keep up unless you have a physical limitation.
Usually we allow people to attend another class. Sometimes during the live fire we are able to take you aside and do more individual training with you. Either way we try to work something out to provide you with live fire training.
We do believe in training kids at a young age. Any kid under 18 requires a parent to be in the class with them. The parent has to sign a waiver for the child. Anyone under 18 requires prior instructor approval to attend the class. Most likely this will require a conversation with the instructor so they understand the child’s maturity, attention span and overall aptitude.
At this time we do not have dedicated class for kids. There are many training courses and instructors that focus on kids.
We typically don’t offer refunds once the course is scheduled. We will allow you to reschedule to a future course if you let us know in a timely manner. The main reason for the no refunds policy is we run smaller classes and if one person does not show the entire class may need to be rescheduled or cancelled. We have found with the no refund policy people tend to find a way to make it to a class. We are also not looking to take your money so we will work with you. Our entire goal is to educate you.
We do not provide refunds for no shows. If you sign up for a course and are unable to attend you need to contact us as soon as you know.
