Foundational Training is simply the beginning. We need to build the foundation before we can add any type of structure to it. If you have years of experience and other training you may not need these classes. From our experience that is only 5% of people with experience and prior training. A class for a concealed carry license provides little to no practical training. Being in the Military does not guarantee you have a good foundation. Being a law enforcement officer for 20 years is no guarantee either. We actually find the latter have more bad habits than good and it takes a lot of time to retrain. Ask us and we will give you plenty of stories about military and law enforcement students we have had. Our point is simple, people you may think have a lot of experience typically do not have good experience. We show a lot of videos of law enforcement and military people making bad choices. We are super proponents of the military and law enforcement and in no way are trying to disparage them. Our belief is they all need more funding to provide better and continuous training.
